D-Max Drift Competition at Meihan Sportsland, nr. Osaka

Here’s two videos for you to watch. The highlights of the day for me were watching “Team Burst” rubbing the wall just for fun. It was kind of inspiring. As soon as I got home I called my mechanic to ask if he can cut my knuckles on the R32 so I can have insane lock like these guys. The more and more competitons I watch, it becomes clear that you really need 400bhp and insane steering angle to be even considered good over here. Enjoy the videos!

The Burst boys are fun to watch. I’ve run at Meihan a couple of times and you’re completely right. If you don’t have crazy angle and scrape the walls you aren’t expert class in Japan land.

Damn right. I’m swapping a 2.5 engine into my Skyline next week so at the same time I’m probably going to cut and re-weld my knuckles so I can get some backwards entries like those guys. Was great to watch!
